Weigh feeder is a closed-loop control system, which controls the flow of material very accurately using controller and different instruments. This system accepts an external command from process computers like SCADA, HMI, and DCS etc. This type of weigh feeder used in industries like Steel Plant, Cement Plant, Fertilizer and Chemical industries. The system is controlled by a PLC based loss in weight controller it receives the load data from the signal conditioner and convert the data into the extraction rate (Measured value), which will be fed to the PID controller.

This rate is compared with the set rate and based on the variation a control signal is generated, and is send to the VF drive, which controls the motor. The control panel is free standing type made of CRCA sheet and coated with epoxy based paint. The environmental protection of the panel is equivalent to IP65.
